You need to change the followinf code in the template.css file:

#ja-containerwrap, #ja-containerwrap-c, #ja-containerwrap-cm, #ja-containerwrap-f, #ja-containerwrap-m {
background:#EEEEEE none repeat scroll 0 0;
border-top:1px solid #FFFFFF;
clear:both;
}

change the #EEEEEE value to whatever the hex value is for the colour you wish to chnage it to.
