Does anyone know how to change the brown parts of the background in JA business? i assume it is an image, but i cant tell which. thanks!

You open the file: templates/ja_business/css/template.css and find the following code:
<blockquote>
#ja-slideshow {
background: url(../images/topst-bg.gif) repeat-x scroll left bottom;
border-top: solid 1px #000;
}
</blockquote>
and

#ja-container {
background: url(../images/topbg.gif) repeat-x left top;
padding-top: 25px;
}

You change the background via above rules

the background is blue on the header, then brown under the main menu and slideshow module. I would like to change the brown images, but cannot locate them.

Maybe the following post will help you make a start. It is a colour variation I did for a friend with only the css and images required for the basic changes. I never got around to completing it but it might help show what files to change.
