I need to change the color of the black section of the header. I couldn’t find it in the template CSS file, but I may not be looking in the right place. I was able to change the color of the footer. This is for Zeolite II.

Open file template.css

at/about line 1392 . .


#ja-cpanel .main {
height: 32px;
background: #34383B;
border-bottom: 1px solid #62DC25;
}


Change the background color (and border, for that matter) to whichever color (code) you want.

SAVE CHANGES (to your server file) – CLEAR CACHE – REFRESH PAGE

and there ya have it.

Excellent tip. I just installed Firebug. This should make my life easier.

BTW, anyone replacing this color bar I was asking about can also find the magnifying glass search icon in the templates/images/ folder. I just cleaned up the black background in Photoshop around the icon and changed the color. Actually, I used the layer from the source files, but the layer has a black box background, too, so it’s probably no different than cleaning up the gif icon in the images folder.
