I’m trying to figure out how to change the color of the nav tabs but I can find them in either the css file or the images folder.

Can anyone help?

Which menu system do you use on the template?
Find out that and check the menu folder for the template you use for the css file

Sometimes, you will need not only to change CSS, but background picture of menu that you are using.
