    hi,

    Every time i post a link from my homepage … it shows the description for joomlart template.. how can i change this.. i have already change page title under the menu settings…

    please help..

    HI Jean,

    You should change this description in Metadata Options under backend settings of menu item. Let take Home menu item as sample, you should go to Menus > Main menu > Home > Metadata Options > Meta Description: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/637/3394532691.png and make your own change.

    I did that and everytime i post the page on Facebook this come out as the description:
    Joomla Virtuemart template from JoomlArt – JA Vintas. This shopping template is compatible with the latest version of T3 and Virtuemart; and supports K2 component.

    I ve been trying to figure this out..
    when i type “www website . com/index.php” – everything come out fine..
    but when i type “www . website . com without the index.php — the description changes to joomlart template..
    this comes out

    Please try to check the htaccess file and turn off SEF and let me know what’s going on.

    I tried doing this and it still don’t work.. is there anyway you can tell me where is this file stored?

    Hi amlinc,

    Please make sure that you check the meta options in Menu item of page which you still see the description and the global configuration also.

    If problem still persists, it may due to facebook cache, try putting your site url here and hit debug button: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

    Then refresh your site again 🙂
