Hello,
I tried to find a solution via the search, but I did not made it. I am trying now for more than 1 hour to change the font inside the portfolio template.
– I tried it via the template settings at the backend by choosing a google font – nothing happens
– I searched for the google font thing, found that: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/not-all-google-fonts-work/ did it – nothing happens– I changed the font inside the template.css at line 18 (body) – nothing happens
Can someone please help me – I am just a step from freaking out away…
Regards
Markus

August 15, 2011 at 3:47 pm #406393did you add the link sheet of the google font ?
August 16, 2011 at 9:10 am #406492Did the following steps:
Login to your FTP, go to plugins/system/jat3/base-themes/default/blocks and copy head.php file
Now go to templates/your_template/blocks and paste the head.php you have copied.
Open the head.php and isert <link href=’http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Coda:800′ rel=’stylesheet’ type=’text/css’> at the end of the file.
Similarly you can add more fonts in head.php
Set the Coda font in template manager and it will show up on your site frontend.Thing is – it is not just one font that is not working, It is that absolute no font except the standard one is working. Can you please tell me where I can change the standard font? Firebug just shows me
“element.style {
font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;
font-size: 12pt;
}and I am not able to find where to change it…. PLEASE HELP

Just a remind,Are you sure you are making these changes on your currently active profile? Because sometime we can forget to apply these changes to our active profile…
Or sometimes if you apply different profiles for different pages, your changes on one profile will be active only for applied menu pages.
August 16, 2011 at 9:23 am #406497Hi – Yes it is the active one. I tested it with other settings like changing the logo or things like that and that works…
August 16, 2011 at 9:33 am #406498Do I need to activate the google fonts somewhere else? Maybe a plugin?
August 16, 2011 at 12:19 pm #406527Okay – I got it by myself and Google – the thing is, that I did not check the box “Custom CSS” – that was all and costs me plenty of hours…
So if anyone else is having the same issue, that Google Fonts are not working – go to template editor, choose your active Profile and check the option “Custom CSS” – Now it should work…
