July 24, 2008 at 5:48 am #131275Hi Everyone
Not sure if this is possible or not, but I have a feeling it is!
I’ve set up some categories which are for Members Only. Rather than make the articles ‘invisible’ they get the intro text, and then the ‘Read More’ button I have changed to ‘Register to Read More’ (thanks to some info in a previous thread).
Now, my question:
Rather than the ‘Register to Read More’ button go to the standard ‘sign up’ registration form, I want it to go to a different URL (in effect, a PayPal payment page).
Can anyone tell me where I can change the URL of this button?
Many thanks

July 29, 2008 at 6:35 am #262841Instead of hacking around and give yourself extra work i would take a look at this extensions package here: http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,4297/Itemid,35/

Hi Menalto
I sent two e-mails to the company that is selling the extension (one to support, one to marketing), to clarify a few issues before I part with the 59 euros.
No response from them in 48 hours which I think is worrying! If they can’t bother to respond to a potential client, then I’m sure they won’t bother to respond to any support issues for existing clients?
Do you know anyone who has had any previous dealings with JoomSuite?
Thanks

July 31, 2008 at 8:14 am #263176I have contact with some people using the products and they are satisfied.
Whats the questions you asked?
Also, they have had vacation there, but should be back in place by now.questbg Friendquestbg

July 31, 2008 at 8:52 am #263184Thanks Menalto … maybe it’s the vacations!
I was basically just clarifying a few things (automatic e-mails when subscription expires, customising the sign-up form, integration with PayPal, etc.). I’m sure it does everything as I want, but I just wanted clarification before paying the money!
😀
Most of the customer feedback on the site was positive … although, I don’t always trust that 😉
Will wait a few days to see if I have a response, if not, I’ll probably just buy it anyway.
Cheers
