    I want to place a logo on the top of the page that covers the entire width – about 955px x 85 or something – how can I change the template to reflect this? I’m not a wiz at changing html on my own, but if given instructions am more than capable of doing it. Thanks!

    Hi Caprice

    Would this not cause you problems with some other parts of the template (Log in, change text size, search, etc.)?

    Anyways, create your graphic called logo.gif and replace the original one.

    Then modify the template.css file. Find the following code:

    h1.logo a {
    width: 278px;
    display: block;
    background: url(../images/logo.gif) no-repeat;
    position: absolute;
    height: 42px’
    top” 20px;
    left0;

    Modify the width and height to match the new logo.gif file that you uploaded.

    Hope that helps, if you need more info, let me know.

    Don’t forget to take backup of course!! 🙂

    Good luck
    Chris

    Thanks! It worked fine – my problem was that I couldn’t find the h1.logo line – I don’t know why I couldn’t see it until today – but it worked out. Thanks for the speedy reply!
