I have a main menu in left module with 7 items. After installing Ja_Barite the same items is also shown in top in the navigation menu (Ja_splitmenu, JA_suckerfish menu etc.)

Is it possible to have the 7 items in main menu, but only three of them in navigation menu???Where do you change this?

This is not a bug I assume, it is only a question! The site is an Intranet so I am not able to give you a link. I just want to have different objekt in the main meny and in your navigation meny (Ja_splitmenu, JA_suckerfish menu etc.)

Your navigation is connected to the mainmenu, is it possible to define which object to be shown???

Yes, you can use topmenu to display in our menu.
With joomla 1.0.x, you can change it in file ja_vars.php.
Open that file, in line: 99, replace ‘mainmenu’ to ‘topmenu’ same as:

$japarams->set( 'menutype', 'topmenu' );
Create menu item in topmenu same as mainmenu.
