Hello,
I made mod_jacontentslider2 module as your demo and placed it to user4 (as in demo). It works fine.
I want to place this module in module position user1 (under the slide show) but it doesn’t appear. (Only one black line appears).

in this case you dont need to assign it to user4, you just need to move the Block that contains user4 to upper position, you can consult forum posts to learn how:
