I would like to know how would I change the template module size?

I am going to add a new block to the template but my goal is to use two modules with the following size
9 for my right module and 3 for my left and I need to know where can I adjust the module setup…

Hi

If you add your modules as spotlight block you can manage dimensions in the backend layout

thanks for your reply… But I have created a new block in the past but I have never been able to adjust the size like in you photo. This why I am posting…

i see you are using the responsive layout, is that the option to use? I never used that option so is that the missing piece of the layout puzzle?

make a copy of the block file
adjust loading options
edit new spotlight file (spotlight3.php)
add new position to templatedetail.xml file
go to template manager and then adjust module position like in your photo, but selecting the responsive layout option?

Is these the steps I have or need to take?
