July 13, 2014 at 1:49 pm #199649Hello, I would like to know how to change the Raleway font throughout the template to OpenSans. I have downloaded the webfont, added it to the fonts folder, added reference to assets.xml, I can see the appropriate entry in the head of all pages (css is loading correctly that is) but the template is still using Raleway.
Altering all references of Raleway in each and everyone CSS file to OpenSans didn’t make a difference. Why are these css files there, then? And when did things become so complicated? I have been using Joomla and overriding styles for too many years. I guess you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, right? 😉

Thanks for the response!
I have read this and so far so good. I can’t seem to bypass the t3 CSS overriding the normal CSS.
While I have replaced all instances of Raleway font in the /template/jadecor/css files the CSS being used is in the t3 assets folderTomC ModeratorTomC

July 13, 2014 at 11:57 pm #542179You shouldn’t be working with CSS within t3-assets anyway – as such will be overwritten as soon as you update/upgrade the core template files. Instead, you should be using CUSTOM.CSS
