You haven’t added a new language to ‘content’.

Good place to start is with a joomla tutorial – z.B.

Thank you swissa, i thought it was just like in older versions.: you install the language Package and after alll there is language availiable on all aereas. So it seemed the language ist installed and i have to implant it manually. I will try in the next days. For the first thank you for the quick answer.

Hello, it doesn´t work. After manually imlemntig the language, I see no possibilty to switch from englisch to german. I dont want a multilanguagesite – i only want a german back- and frontend. The backend works an the frontend shows two languages (german and english in the backend) but in the frontend i only see english items (author, date etc.) Whrere do i have to say that frontend language should be german?
    Thank you for your help

I have quickly checked back-end of your site and see your site installed both languages: English and German. You need to duplicate menus, contents, modules… to work with both languages as in this userguide here

Our demo uses JA Multilingual component to set up multi-language, you can also try to integrate the same on your site following this userguide.

If your site only runs with German language, you need to change menus, contents… to German language.
