March 20, 2012 at 2:16 am #444655So you want to have the right and left columns adjacent to each other – on the left?

Why not simply assign your modules to the left – rather than the right? In other words, don’t assign any modules to the right side at all.

March 20, 2012 at 2:49 am #444659There is not left block for the template, only right. The left block is displayed next to the right one, to the right of the template.

March 20, 2012 at 4:22 pm #444728There actually is a left block . . . . if you look in your Template Manager >> Layouts >> Default + Edit . . . about halfway down you will see the block layout for the “middle” blocks area.
In testing things out, I actually rearranged things a bit (which you can do to) – see below:
<blockquote><blocks name=”middle” colwidth=”25″ main-inner=”1″>
<block name=”inset2″>left</block>
<block name=”right1″>right</block>
<block name=”content-mass-top”>content-mass-top</block>
<block name=”content-mass-bottom”>content-mass-bottom</block>
</blocks></blockquote>Also, in assigning modules . . . . if a certain position is supposed to be in the position list, but isn’t displaying, you can often times simply manually type in the position name and it will “kick start” the position into displaying on the list. (Honestly, I am not certain why this happens from time to time).
So, in this particular case . . . you can manually type in “left” into the position field.
Then, it’s a matter of “rearranging” things to achieve the layout/display you’re looking for.

March 20, 2012 at 6:37 pm #444758I moved things around but the left block is not moving to the left. I guess I need to find the css and make it float left unless you have a better suggestion to get: left-middle-right, 3 columns layout. Thanks.
