    In
    templates/ja_pyro/layouts/default.php
    or
    templates/ja_pyro/layouts/left-main.php

    uncoment
    //$this->customwidth(‘right2’, 24);

    and change tha numeric value.

    Just for the record …. doesn’t it seem quite ridiculous how deep and convoluted one has to dig to find the parameter for this issue – as opposed to a simple CSS parameter adjustment for the right column?

    Dear tcraw1010,

    In the T3 Framework,the width value of the right column is assigned in the php code,also I think it is easy for you to make changes.

    To sum up all, which way of changing the right column width will be the best for Joomla 2.5?

    Well, it actually depends on the particular template you are working with.

    go to Extensions/Template Manager/JA_Pyro/layouts
    and use the option width=”xx”

    <block name=”inset2″ type=”modules” width=”28″>left</block>
    <block name=”left1″ width=”28″>right</block>
