December 21, 2011 at 12:48 pm #172017Hello, I would like to change the style of Ja Methys popup. I have a site Actuamelmente Methys and another Teline IV. I would like to style the lightbox of the of Teline Methys IV.
The aim is to reduce the top and bottom margins to make better use browser size and the emerging picture look better.
Attached images so that they can see the differences.
As I can change the style of the lightbox?
Regards,
Javier-

If I am understanding you correctly, you are wanting to reduce the size of the black “border” around the image within the lightbox – correct? If so, it appears that it is not actually a border, but a padding property.Here is how you can reduce the padding . . . .
Open file “modal.css” – within the following path –> media/system/css/modal.css
at line 17, you should see the following:
#sbox-window
{
position: absolute;
background-color: #000;
text-align: left;
overflow: visible;
padding: 10px;
-moz-border-radius: 3px;
}
Play around with the “padding” value …. for example, change to 5px and see how that looks.
You can actually test out modifying these values in a real-time setting through using a free web development tool such as FIREBUG (this is exactly how I was able to identify the relative CSS for you).
Hope that helps.

December 28, 2011 at 5:07 pm #431611Thank you very much for your reply. I tested with Firebug. I played some CSS and is magnificent. I checked as I indicated to reduce the padding.
But this is not what I want. What I’m trying to make is that the image occupies a larger share of the browser. I want them to look bigger and for that we must reduce the top and bottom.
What I like is that the lightbox out Fancybox type, as in the template Teline IV. I have Methys active in Ja Popup plugin, but the window that opens with still images such as: sbox-window.
The purpose of this question is to change the type of lightbox template for another as Fancybox.
Thank you for your answers and sorry for my bad English.
Greetings to all.
Happy 2012!TomC ModeratorTomC
