    I believe it is text with a background pic? Just want to rename the button from “Top Panel” to something else.

    Anyone know where this is kept?

    Yup, I didt it already. You should modify the target file here – yoursite/www/modules/mod_jatoppanel/tmpl/default.php , and searching “Top Panel” (line 31) like below:

    <div class=”ja-toppanel-button”><?php echo JText::_(‘Top Panel’)?></div>

    :laugh:

    Can that be done as well with a language file? If so which one?

    Of course, that is what the JText:: part alludes to. Anyhwere you see that there should be a translation available.

    In this case it is in language>en-GB>en-GB.mod_jatoppanel.ini around line 9

    TOP PANEL=Top Panel

    Just edit the bit in red as required.
