I would like to know if it is possible to have a single page within my site a different color from the rest of the site. Essentially, the site’s color is the blue theme, but I want to have a single page, which would contain all articles under an ‘environmental news’ category, you guessed it, green.

Is it possible to do this?

    many thanks in advance.

Of course it is possible and this is one of the great features of the T3V2 system.

First in the template manager go to the profiles tab and create your profile.

Then in the general tab you can assign the new profile to whatever pages or categories you require. The layout of the general tab and its options is slightly different depending on whether you are using J1.5 or J1.6.

In J1.5 look for the “Profile Override Settings section on the general tab, on J1.6 it is callsed “Page Override Settings”.

The box in the column “Pages” denotes what pages the profile should appear. It can be any page, category, menu item or even component. The bos on the right in the column “Profiles” selects which profile should be applied”
