Hi,

i will alow user to change the “username” in the Frontend. When they are logged in and go to change Joomla Profil then tey cant change the username. Only email adress is allowed.

Is ist possible to change it? I put it on in the backend.

Yes, i know, but i have make this. And i see not the username in the frontend.

Hello,

The Editing Profile page as you said is K2 editing user page, not from Joomla, because K2 has overridden this page.

And in K2 component, user name is not allowed to change.

You can check it by go to <blockquote>components/com_k2/templates/default/user.php</blockquote>

You will see these code: <blockquote><?php if ($this->params->get(‘userName’)): ?>
<h2><?php echo $this->user->name; ?></h2>
<?php endif; ?></blockquote>

No edit form for user name.
