I am using JA Intranet in the vertical menu layout.

I would like to be able to change the vertical menu based on the language selection – I have tried publishing a menu module to the mainnav position but this has no effect.

Please help.

Hi
Kindly use this way:
Open template manager > Select a JA intranet template style > Duplicate.
now select a different menu for this template style and assign it the Menu language pages.
Basically you have to use two different template style for two different languages so you have two different mega menu.
