Is there any way we can make the title of the articles not to appear on
the browser head, but make the Web site title appear instead?

I’ve been using a ‘web site name’ Joomla plugin which is a free download from:

http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/seo-&-metadata/3352/details

Basically it adds the name of the site in front of every page and article name. Very good and quick to install and configure.

One more question. How do we install it, and how do we use it? You see, we didn’t install the template ourselves. Do we upload it to the FTP and then access it through the Joomla Administrator, or what?

Hi tversover

To be honest, it’s not difficult at all to install and configure new plugins, components and modules.

Once you’ve downloaded the ‘Site Title’ plugin via the link above. Log into your Joomla Admin and select ‘Install/Uninstall’ from the ‘Extensions’ Menu:

Next, in this area:

Click ‘Browse…’ and find the zipped file of the plugin and select it. Next click on ‘Upload File & Install’.

Once that’s done (you will get a ‘install plugin successful’ type message), you then need to activate it. Go to your ‘Extensions’ Menu and select ‘Plugin Manager’:

Find the newly installed plugin in the list:

Click on the name to open it and ensure that ‘Enabled’ is clicked:

That’s it. Your website name will now appear before every single page title on the site!
