could you please help me with two questions:
1. how to change the width of the window with slides on the main side (Frontpage JA News)
2. how to decrease the border of the images for normal articles,
details are on attaced screenshot.

First let me apologize for the very long delay.. I’m not sure how you slipped through the cracks.
your template does not support changing the width there while maintaining the same width on the other 2 columns beside it.
you could change the page width to make it wider, it is controlled in the layout as shown here http://screencast.com/t/IUzHzyoLO changing that much beyond 68 will start to make the template look odd.

#2 please provide screenshot of what borders you want changed… firebug ( in my signature ) is a great tool for figuring out what to change.

Hi,

#1 Let me explain in details what I need to change. As you can see on screenshot “width.jpg”, I would like to decrease width1 and increase width2 without change of summary width width3. “Width1+width2=constant value” before and after changes (summary width3 should not changed).

New sizes of block are displayed on screenshot by black colour.

#2 In screenshot “Border.jpg” you can see that i want to remove border (grey and white borders) around image. It highlighted by black frame – it should be removed. I need it to decrease heigh1

I tried to use firebug, and I saw a lot of html code, but I don’t understand how to define in what file this html should be changed, pls send me a couple of screenshot how to use it.

ok,let me talk to one of my co-workers about the width because teline has a “specialwidth” clause and I’m not 100% clear on what that means. As for the rest of the info as soon as I get your site info I’ll take a look, be sure to have optimizations and caches turned off or it makes it very hard to figure things out.

Ask User follow step by step guide about frontpage ja_new: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-teline-ii-read-me-userguide/. If it work anything pls let me know resize FEATURED ARTICLES(width, height) and NORMAL FRONTPAGE ARTCILE(width, height). i will help on it.
