November 22, 2011 at 3:26 pm #170974Hi y’all.
Using an FTP program, I’ve uploaded new pics to replace the blank spaces on slideshow and content slider (popular places/hotels).
As I am for now doing this as practice on a demosite, I have saved the files under same names as in the template in exactly the same folder as they came in the template.
But no pics are shown. Nada!::((Also, after uploading the pics for the slideshow, my only 2 topmenus moved so they are now on top of each other. How can I correct this?
Thank you in advance for all advice/help.

November 22, 2011 at 4:30 pm #425929By “blank spaces” are you meaning the graphics with the big “X” on them?…or are you meaning blank spaces with absolutely nothing in them?
Providing us a URL will be of great help.
Without a URL, I must only guess that it would be something along the lines of:- images are in wrong folder
- cache is not cleared
- previously resized images are still being seen
The more information you can provide us up front, the faster we can help you resolve the issue.
Thanks,

November 22, 2011 at 4:58 pm #425934Thanks John,
I decided to download the quickstart package so I have a good base to start on.
It does look like the template demo but without pictures.
I still see these blank spaces instead of pictures I’ve uploaded thru FTP. They are watermarked with JOOMLART.COM and with pixelsize on the middle.
I’ve cleared the cache, and now I’m viewing it on another pc. No change.
And I am sure, at least on the slideshow, I have saved the new images in the exact folder as the blank images , named them as the old files.Thank you

November 22, 2011 at 5:39 pm #425940Then without the URL…I can only suggest that you double check your work.
Obviously you haven’t done exactly as you hoped to have done. Why not simply label your new picture files as you would normally and then update the SLIDESHOW parameters.
I would go so far as to delete the place saver graphics to avoid confusion.Good luck to you. Without providing us a URL, we simply cannot help you further.
I’m sorry.
