Hi,
Theme Magic is promising to be a very exciting addition to Joomla, but unfortunately is doesn’t work at all on my local website :

• backend : everything looks fine, I have cloned the standard theme, customized the colors, renamed it and applied it to all my menu elements
• frontend : nothing happens : the standard Mero theme is used.

I have checked my files : even though I have cloned a theme, no new files or directories have been created.
Interestingly, the cloned theme still appears in the theme list, though none of the values modified in the theme magic interface is ever saved.

I am using Joomla! 3.0.3 Stable [ Ember ] and the 1.0.3 version of the T3v3 Framework

(as mentioned, this is all on a local website : I can’t provide access to the staff)

After you made all changes did you clicked on the Compile LESS to CSS button ?

Hi,
Sorry, I should have mentioned that : yes of course, I clicked the compile less to css several times, to absolutely no effect.
Again : each time I go back to editing by clicking the Theme Magic button, no modifications have been saved.

Hi

This seems really strange anyway i will need to take a more closer look at your global configuration

If you can try to upload the website on a Hosting and we can try to solve your issue

from here without any other info is very difficult to understand what’s happening

Hi anikrig,

It is weird, since you can not provide the url of your site, so please answer some question below.
What tool you are using to create new theme? ThemeMagic?
Have you cleared system cache and browser cache?
Please disabled Compress CSS and Development Mode option in General tab, then try to refresh your website again.
Please make sure you check your other pages too instead of just only homepage.

Please tell me your result.
