You CAN save HEADER information. You CANNOT save DESCRIPTION information.

Clicking PUBLISH reverts everything back to the sample (default) text.

Sorry. Now the component won’t show any examples. All it will show are place holders to the example images. Therefore, I am unable to even test the editor.
