Hello,
I would like to change the color of the HTML Modules, like contact, gallery etc. But when I try to use ThemeMagic it basically messes up my entire template that I’ve customized. Is there a way to edit the color of these without using ThemeMagic? Thank you in advance!pavit Moderatorpavit

Of course you can
You can edit the css files related to the modules editing the template.css file in folder /templates/ja mero default /css
remember to disable CSS optimization from your template manager General TabNovember 11, 2013 at 9:53 pm #511893Hello! And thank you for your response! I apologize it’s taken me awhile to respond as I’ve been unfortunately quite busy. However, I am attempting to do this and wondered if you could give me some direction as to which part in the css to change? It’s not very clear which mod goes with what. I am trying to change the color of the Contact module. Would it be this?
}
.module.mod-hilite5 {
background: #d9532d
color: #fff
}
.module.mod-hilite5 .module-title {
color: #fff
}Thank you very much in advance!!!

The files to change colors depending on wich theme are you using every theme have a specific folder
could you be more detailed about this ? maybe also post a screenshot of what exactly you want to change ?

This link should take you to the site I am working on. I’m using the JA Mero template.What I am trying to change is the contact module on the right hand side that is sort of a light blue. I’d like to change it to a green that works better with my site, however when I use ThemeMagic it screws up the entire page. So I’d like to change it with the css if possible.
Thanks in advance!!pavit Moderatorpavit

November 13, 2013 at 6:29 am #512049Hi
For that specific module named “quick contact” you can change the module class suffix that actually is set to mod-hilite1
you can assign to it the same suffix like twitter module ( green )
to change it open the quick contact module and in Options Tab go to Advanced Options and in
Module Class Suffix change to mod-hilite4 no-padding
