There are many threads detailing this problem. It is usually write permissions. For you to be able to save these settings the script must be able to write to a file in your templates folder. If it cannot do that then your settings would not be saved. Please check permissions of your templates folder.

I have not been able to figure it out. I checked my file permission and the are at 755. What else can I do?

how do i change it manually?
