    Hi,

Is there anyway I can edit the language strings? I am setting my website in Arabic and would like to change the warning messages and things like that. I installed Arabic language for Joomla, but still there are strings I need to translate.

Thank you for reading the post.

I’m sure there are ways, but it’s very dependent on the template from JA your using, as some older templates access the language files in a different way to the more recent T3 systems and of course the T3 system supports right to left languages such as Arabic making the translations possibly easier.

You probably need to tell us which Joomlart template you are using before we could begin to help, also a live site url allows us to see what needs to change

    Hi,

If the word you want is not in the arbic language file means joomla will get the word from default language file so add the word in the language file it will be in language/”name of the language folder ex(en-GB)”/file you want to change
