hi there,
im a complete newb to web design, and have little experience with joomla. i stumbled upon joomlart and these great templates and couldn’t pass up on signing up.
i am trying to replace the logo for the site. i have downloaded the .psd source file, and replaced the ‘ja zinc’ with what i would like to be my logo. can you please tell me how to take what i have done to the .psd file and implement it for my site?
great work on JA Zinc by the way!

December 30, 2008 at 12:11 pm #284326you usually can just upload the image over top of the place it currently is
for example, http://www.site.com/templates/ja_zinc/images or http://www.site.com/templates/ja_zinc/coloryouareusing/ imagesthat is if it is the same filename, and I always rename the original file to something like logo.sav and keep it there just in case.

This is what I have done in the past as well, but with JA Zinc, it doesn’t appear to be the same…
Please advise!
Thanks!

Well I just tried it and it worked fine, even if I changed themes.
Are you sure the file is uploading? You can check by just typing in the path to see if your logo is where it should be.

December 31, 2008 at 3:32 am #284369Thanks! I must have missed that.
Second question… How do I make the size of the logo location bigger so my entire logo will display.
Right now its centered in the middle of the logo location and its cut off on the left and right. Right now the image size is 415 width x 64 height.
December 31, 2008 at 3:38 am #284370N/M i found it…
Go to template.css search for logo. change the width to match your logo size.
January 12, 2009 at 2:49 am #286012My logo isn’t showing up. I’m still getting the default JA Zinc in IE6.
