Can someone tell me the best way to change the top logo. Is it best to unzip the template folder and change it in there? Or is there a way to insert a file from the joomla backend?

I tried doing it by changing the file in the template folder, then zipping it back up (i used the same file and didn’t change any size), but when it’s on the site, the logo is too big, doesn’t fit.

any advice? and do you have to change them for each color of the template?

How do you set a certain color as the default?

    thanks.

    Hi amlinc,

This threads may helps you with how to change logo: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-change-template-logo-any-template/

About changing default color for template, it depends on the profile you’re using for the default page in Template manager > Your default template > Profiles tab > Theme settings: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/615/3860348253.png and change to your default theme here. As in attached image, we’re using blue theme for this profile and we move theme before default one.
I believe that this wiki guide may help you understand more about theme in our JAT3 framework: http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/Guides#Themes

    Hi All,

I am now starting to feel a little sick….

I have just spent the last 6 hours trying to get my logo on the Edenite site.

I can get the logo uploaded and showing fine, however when I do, my logo has a light blue box around it – it shouldnt it should be white to match the white background.

I have tried changing the background of my logo – no help, removing all the background of my logo – this results in the logo being pixilated.

Does anyone know where I am going wrong with this?

Dylan for anyone to suss out what’s wrong we need to see it in action that is a live site url. Using tools like firebug for Firefox I can go to your site click on your logo etc and get some idea of coding then I look for mistakes etc.

I agree, editor like Firebug in firefox or Google chrome inspect element will help you more here. What I usually do is set Compress CSS in Template manager to No, then hover on any element you want and right click on it and then click on inspect element, it will show you which CSS class it is using and which CSS file and the path to this element on the right side.

    Regards.
