I thought changing the Megamenu options would be as easy as changing the category names

I wanted to change the La Liga there to “CBL”

I opened the content manager and renamed the La Liga category CBL. I thought wrong, obviously.

The documentation on the megamenu doesn’t really help me, I’ve tried editing through there but I don’t want to change its positions nor do I want to add a drop down menu.

I just wanted to change “La Liga” on the megamenu into “CBL” and for it to link to a page where CBL articles would soon be located (which will be in an article category I just renamed CBL – formerly La Liga – you guessed it, its on the screenshot).

Just a quick run down, if that’s possible, on how we’d do this would be enough.

if i understand u right

u want to change la liga menu into CBL?

u can go to Menu > Main menu > open la liga menu link

and just edit into CBL

Thanks! I’ll try to read up on general Joomla know-how too. Until now, my focus had been on editing FA Fubix (I know there are different modules and extensions being used)…:laugh:

Just a follow up, I just discovered that when I was browsing (specifically when I clicked “CBL” -formerly, “La Liga” – I saw this:

The menu went back to the original.

How do I know on which page I have to change the menu texts and how do I change it on every page?

Edit:
I found that editing K2 Menu does the trick.

Here I changed the Menu items on K2 Menu.

Refreshed my page, et voila.

Are there any other menus I should be aware of on this template and that I should be making changes to?

in main page u changed La liga thats ok

but that link lead to other menu

please check other menus ! and change la liga

Looks like there were just two (top) menus I had to look out for, the default one and the K2 menu. Thanks!
