    Yes I saw you used that which is the same as me!!

    Can you possible access the ftp via Joomla Admin area? Is that possible as I only use ftp client normally

    Let me know whilst I check on the details again, and while I contact my hosts…

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi there,

    So I believe Joomlart are based in Australia?? If so there shouldn’t be any problems connecting, the hosts said…BUT they would need your IP address to check to see if there was a problem.

    They also said if you can provide an error log from filezilla that would help to.

    Finally my hosts: hostinger.com said you can contact them directly from livechat on the site if you don’t want to give me your details & the ftp issue can be sorted in realtime with them too…instead of me transferring info between yourselves.

    Hopefully this can be done, so we can look at my issue!

    Thanks,

    Chris.

    Hello again,

    Below is what the hosts have said to me:

    _Seems like everything is fine, I can even ping that IP from the server your website is located on.

    Also said you will need to:
    use plain FTP and make sure the port 21 is open on his side too._

    Let me know if that helps,
    Chris.

    PS; they also gave a link specifically meant for their platform.

    Hi, so i’ve been on to my hosts again and they gave me all the same ideas again!! But they did mention to try a different ftp client like SmartFTP or CoreFTP?

    If not did you try my idea to access the ftp from within joomla as i mentioned before or if not could you see if somebody else can access my ftp to make this little change, as i’m sort of stuck in the middle here at the moment.

    Please let me know asap.

    Thanks,
    Chris.

    Hi Chris,

    Could you share the cPanel hosting account? so I check instead of FTP.

    I updated the css to

    @media (max-width: 1080px){
    .acm-slideshow .owl-carousel .sl-title {
        font-size: 24px !important;
    }
    }

    You can see that the title will have font size with 24px if screen resolution is smaller than 1080px, kindly check

    Hi there – glad you now have access!!

    I’ve changed the font size to 52px – which is ok for small devices mobiles

    But I initially needed the text to display BIGGER on a bigger screen (perhaps about 92px?)

    And I could really do with a Medium size as well for iPad’s etc (maybe 70px)

    Any ideas how to do this, (or just to make the text responsive) as I’ve tried various figures on the custom file but nothing I tried will do as a workaround….

    Thank you!

    This template is built with Bootstrap, you can use media queries to add css rule for specific screen size: http://getbootstrap.com/css/#grid-media-queries

    Hi there,

    I’ve tried to add these rules and the whole BS template has been altered now! The rules are as below…

    @media (max-width: @screen-xs-max) { .acm-slideshow .owl-carousel .sl-title {
    font-size: 50px !important; }

    @media (min-width: @screen-sm-min) { .acm-slideshow .owl-carousel .sl-title {
    font-size: 100px !important; }

    @media (min-width: @screen-md-min) { .acm-slideshow .owl-carousel .sl-title {
    font-size: 150px !important; }

    @media (min-width: @screen-lg-min) { .acm-slideshow .owl-carousel .sl-title {
    font-size: 200px !important; }
