June 20, 2008 at 5:09 pm #255009you can unpublish the menu items you dont want to show up in the main menu. Menus>>>mainmenu. and just select them and hit the unpublish button.
June 20, 2008 at 6:46 pm #255034will that not unpublish them from the left menu too??
only want to unpublish items from the top menu
section A on the template layout picture found on the demo pagenathanbohn Friendnathanbohn

June 20, 2008 at 7:48 pm #255050true. What you can do is have your top menu point to another menu, like topmenu while the left menu will still point to main menu. Therefore you can change what links show at the top and not affect the ones at the left.

June 23, 2008 at 1:52 pm #255531again, basic joomla usability stuff
in the back end go to your modules. Unpublish the mainmenu item assigned to the left.
create a new menu item using other menu or topmenu, this is because mainmenu will just show what you have in both the top and left menu positions as this template was designed to use split menu
now, assign your menu items to the new menu (which you created using other menu or topmenu) and assign that to the left position
is your design firm specializing in joomla?
