    hi guys,
    i have changed the colour scheme for the temp to match our logo, but can not find the css for the top menu,
    does any one know where this can be located

    you can find it at
    templates/ja_helio/ja_menus/ja_moomenu/ja.moomenu.css
    if your using the moomenu
    or
    templates/ja_helio/ja_menus/ja_cssmenu/ja.cssmenu.css
    if you are using suckerfish
    or
    templates/ja_helio/ja_menus/ja_splitmenu/ja.splitmenu.css
    if you are using splitline

    thanks, i was trying to look for the css file in the backend ????
    also how can i modify how many menu items are shown????
    for expamle only want , HOME SERVICES CONTACT on the top menu

    you can unpublish the menu items you dont want to show up in the main menu. Menus>>>mainmenu. and just select them and hit the unpublish button.

    will that not unpublish them from the left menu too??
    only want to unpublish items from the top menu
    section A on the template layout picture found on the demo page

    true. What you can do is have your top menu point to another menu, like topmenu while the left menu will still point to main menu. Therefore you can change what links show at the top and not affect the ones at the left.

    again, basic joomla usability stuff

    in the back end go to your modules. Unpublish the mainmenu item assigned to the left.

    create a new menu item using other menu or topmenu, this is because mainmenu will just show what you have in both the top and left menu positions as this template was designed to use split menu

    now, assign your menu items to the new menu (which you created using other menu or topmenu) and assign that to the left position

    is your design firm specializing in joomla?

    Thanks will do that !
    our firm will not be specialsing in Joomla, but if we did take on joomla (other CMS) jobs we would be looking to outsource
