I like to know how to limit character and disable image caption in section blog view and category blog view…?

thanks for your respond,

what i mean is to limit the intro text character in the section blog view and category blog view ,
and to disable the image caption text appearing in the section blog view and category blog view “not in the frontpage view”

i hope you can understand what i intend to do!.

I have the same issue, when using Teline II, I never needed to limit the text as it would auto limit.

I have 2400 articles on my site and it would take hours to sit and add an intro part to each article to limit the amount of text that goes into the blog view.

Please find enclosed an image explaining the issue in more detail. The images are constrained by the upload limit. But for the test site just imagine the whole article coming below that running to the end of the page. twice in each column.

Please help!

Yes pleeaseee…..the same issue here….
There is any solution to make “auto total characters intro” for blog view intro?
Or is just we have to set manual with readmore only?

=> It is correct. You only use readmore link for the case.
