I’m testing ja_teline template locally (JSAS), and having slight charset problems. Some of them i solved successfully reading this forum, some of them updating to latest version of ja_news, but i can’t find solution for this one:

Joomla changes two of croatian letters in this group of signs, and having trouble showing them in frontend also

but it seems that in some cases (like in the category title on upper screenshot, and category name in lower screenshot) that character can be shown.

what should I do, to get that character appear everywhere else, and not just at some randome places?

I’m using English for default language, and UTF-8 charset. (I have set ja_news rotating headline to windows-1250 to get croatian characters in that part of template and that works fine)

I played around and solved this. It is not ‘the solution’, but works fine for me now.

I installed localized (croatian) translation of Joomla on live site, and applied ja_teline template on it. It looks ok now. All characters are here.
