Hoping someone can help with this relatively basic question. I am setting up a site for software sales. The products can be sold as individual, 10 pack, or web based. I thought the best way to do this would be to set up child products for each type of distribution.
It appears though that the product detail flypages for Zeolite & ( Mesolite) dont support child products. (They do display using the default theme however poorly formatted). When clicking add to cart for a product with child product it give this message.”Info: To add this product into your cart you have to select a product variant on the details page.” However, there is no apparent link to a different detail page.

It ils that I need to customize the flypage but am hoping there is an easier solution. Alternatively is it a better way to show variations of essentially the same product other than creating child products?

i am experiencing the exact same problem.
I want to be able to show child products as a list, with individual “add to cart” buttons. The default setting, using drop-down list works…. however the listbox option makes all childs products dissapear. Any ideas why? I really need this option,
quang, what do you mean by “install quickstart”?
I am using joomla 1.5.12 and virtuemart 1.1.3 and the zeolite temple, btw.
