    Hi JA,

I’ve been a newbie and choosed a competitor template.
Although it looks good and really flexible but my site is just very slow.
I am looking to switch and wanted to make sure that JA will be good choice for me.

Can you take a look and tell me if JA template will speed up my site?

    Thanks,
    Liorit

    HI Liorit,

I had a quick look at your site. Here is the screenshot showing the number of css / js files your site is loading >> http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/668/9402755693.png

You are not using much of images (i did not check the file size of the images, make sure they are optimized).

The basic rule of site speed is simple, more your site size is, slow it would be. It depends more on you, how you setup your site. You are welcome to try our templates to see if that helps, but you will need to set it up in such a way that you load less, use cache, longer expiry tags for images / css / js files. Use JS /CSS compression tool such as JCHOptimize >> http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/performance/site-performance/12088

It would not be fair of me to blame your template provider.

You should also read our blog post on the same topic >> http://www.joomlart.com/blog/news-updates/tools-and-tips-to-check-joomla-site-speed-and-improve-performance

I would see no harm in you trying out our template to see if that helps, its covered under 7 days no questions asked refunds, so give it a shot. I would request you to make another account if you want to signup and avail the refunds, as you are a expired member, your signup with the same account would be considered as renewal.. which is not covered under refund policy.
