For some reason I can not insert citation marks with JCE or any other editor (JCK, Tiny…) and JA Typo wont do the trick either.

Does anyone have the same problems… I have tried it on several installations an cant figure out what is wrong.

Can you be more specific about what you mean by “Citation Marks”. Are you meaning subscript or superscript, quotation marks or footnote markings? Perhaps a visual example might help us.

    Thanks.

Sorry … it seems to be called Blockqoute.

    Ah, now I understand!
If you are wanting the BLOCKQUOTE to appear as it does in the DEMO, you need to use the…

    JA Typo Extension

This plugin allows you to add a variety of typo to your article. After you install and enable the plugin, open the article (in backend) you want to use the special template typography in and click the JATypo button at the bottom of your content window.

And then select from the large menu of choices.

I have not yet had any success to get Typo working. Most of the time I get an error 500 and when selecting window shows up, code is not inserted.

I really dont understand why Blockquote in the editors dont work… I will have to test Typo when there is a working release.

Please check the version of your Typo plugin V 1.1.5 is the current which was recently updated to fix that issue.

I have tried version 1.1.4 in several templates and I just cant make it work. I have both tried a quick installation and normal joomla installation.

We’re to the point we can do no more for you without an Admin login. We’ve identified the issue, but what you have conflicting, we of course can’t say without having a look.

You say you have used different WYSIWYG’s…so, blindly, I can only recommend going in and, beginning from latest to oldest, begin turning off plugins/modules until the functionality returns.

    Good luck to you.
    John.

Thank you for providing me with your access to your site.
I went in, updated your JA Typo plugin as we noted earlier…and found no troubles with using the JA Typo on your site.

Below is a demo article I used to demonstrate.

    ARTICLE WITH BLOCKQUOTE2 APPLIED

Let us know if we can be of further assistance.

    Have fun!
    John.
