After installing the JA-Portfolio template and setting it as default, this is what I see in the main page:

    URL: http://www.gali-nir.com

Fatal error: Class ‘T3Hook’ not found in /home/galinir/gali-nir.com/templates/ja_portfolio/html/com_content/frontpage/default_item.php on line 45

This doesn’t happen with other templates.

    Your help would be appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.

Edit: The modules and plugins were disabled, I enabled them and it’s working now.

    Hi gali

At the end of installation process you must remove the installation folder

seems to me that this is not done.

    Hi Pavit,
I’m now uploading the quickstart files of the template so that I can use the sample data.
This is why the installation folder is there.
    Thanks for your help.
    Gali.

Edit: I just checked and the installation of the template’s quickstart data doesn’t seem to work.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Gali
I see your site correctly on line

Yes, I just removed the installation folder. But the site doesn’t look like the template’s demo site (for instance, the image on top is missing).

In the installation procedure you have installed the sample data ?

I installed Joomla, then I installed Joomla’s sample data and then I copied the template’s quickstart files through FTP.
But I don’t know how to install the template’s sample data, I had to delete the installation folder because it didn’t work.

I looked at the post and tried to follow it.
I copied the quickstart files to the root folder of my website overwriting the existing files.
Should I have created a separate folder for the quickstart files and copied the files to that folder instead of the root folder?

you must copy all the files of quickstart folder in your root folder

and start the installation from here

you must be sure to start from a clean environment ” i’m referring to the mysql database”

so if you can you must create a new database and use it for the new installation

    OK, I’ll do that.
I hope it works well without any issues.
    Thanks again for your help.

I have copied the quickstart files overwriting the existing files of the Joomla installation but when I go to the site, the installation doesn’t start and I get this error (it’s the same as before but this time I deleted the database):

    PLEASE REMEMBER TO COMPLETELY
    REMOVE THE INSTALLATION DIRECTORY.
You will not be able to proceed beyond this point until the installation directory has been removed. This is a security feature of Joomla!.
Click here when the directory has been removed.

can you provide an ftp account via pm to your site ?

So I don’t need to go through the installation?
I just have to create a new database after copying the files to the server?
