After installing the JA-Portfolio template and setting it as default, this is what I see in the main page:
Fatal error: Class ‘T3Hook’ not found in /home/galinir/gali-nir.com/templates/ja_portfolio/html/com_content/frontpage/default_item.php on line 45
This doesn’t happen with other templates.
Your help would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.Edit: The modules and plugins were disabled, I enabled them and it’s working now.

August 21, 2011 at 3:46 pm #407432Hi gali
At the end of installation process you must remove the installation folder
seems to me that this is not done.
August 21, 2011 at 3:58 pm #407433Hi Pavit,
I’m now uploading the quickstart files of the template so that I can use the sample data.
This is why the installation folder is there.
Thanks for your help.
Gali.Edit: I just checked and the installation of the template’s quickstart data doesn’t seem to work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.pavit Moderatorpavit

I see your site correctly on lineAugust 21, 2011 at 4:15 pm #407435Yes, I just removed the installation folder. But the site doesn’t look like the template’s demo site (for instance, the image on top is missing).

August 21, 2011 at 4:18 pm #407436In the installation procedure you have installed the sample data ?
August 21, 2011 at 4:20 pm #407439I installed Joomla, then I installed Joomla’s sample data and then I copied the template’s quickstart files through FTP.
But I don’t know how to install the template’s sample data, I had to delete the installation folder because it didn’t work.pavit Moderatorpavit

Try to look at this post http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-perform-a-quickstart-installation-a-step-by-step-guide/

August 21, 2011 at 4:33 pm #407444I looked at the post and tried to follow it.
I copied the quickstart files to the root folder of my website overwriting the existing files.
Should I have created a separate folder for the quickstart files and copied the files to that folder instead of the root folder?pavit Moderatorpavit

August 21, 2011 at 4:46 pm #407447you must copy all the files of quickstart folder in your root folder
and start the installation from here
you must be sure to start from a clean environment ” i’m referring to the mysql database”
so if you can you must create a new database and use it for the new installation

August 21, 2011 at 4:56 pm #407451Let me know if you have any problem
August 21, 2011 at 7:01 pm #407476I have copied the quickstart files overwriting the existing files of the Joomla installation but when I go to the site, the installation doesn’t start and I get this error (it’s the same as before but this time I deleted the database):
