restart the procedure
1) Delete all files in your joomla root
2) delete all database
3) create a new database
4) copy all the files of quickstart in your joomla root
5) launch the installation
6) at the end of installation delete the folder Installation in your joomla root

This is the correct procedure

Thank you for the detailed explanation.
I didn’t realize the quickstart was a complete Joomla installation, I understand now.

The installation worked and now I have the template’s sample data.
Now I have another problem, I replaced the top slideshow photos with my own photos and I can’t figure out how to change the text descriptions. I started a new thread describing the problem:
