Patch for fix JA News module :
1 ) <br /> bug in ja_news1.3.1 and ja_news_frontpage modules
2 ) error : max number character of JA News module
Please download it and overwrite to modules folder.
JA will early update it in new version of teline ii.

Am I correct in thinking I replace the helper.php file?

Plus in the /tmpl folder I just replace blog_item.php as there was no blog.php in the download which is there currently.

What I’m saying is … it’s just the helper.php file and then the blot_item.php file that need replacing with new version?

yes it is a very good work. it fixes good ;).

for everyone:

wait 1.4 version of teline2, or download file attached by hainn84 and replace following files:
– helper.php
– tmpl/blog_item.php
(inside it translate “MORE:” in what you prefer in your own language)
– tmpl/index.html
into folder:
joomla installation root (http://www.yoursite.domain) /modules/mod_janews

pls even here, change “answered” to “solved” 🙂

Does it fix the image wraparound problem (spacing) or am I hoping for too much? :p

Hi questbg !
You can easy to solve the problem by way replace it by html code ( padding css ) to hspace. hspace is property don’t really popular .

Agreed. If I edit the HTML, I imagine I have to change the “hspace=”18” bit of code? But, what to change this to?

Seems there are other templates with this problem!

Article Image is a blank black image in front page and news page as well! I have updated the ja_news module with the new fix but still the same.
