Hello

I’m having a play around with JA Newsflash , I need an easy way to clear the cache.
When I make a change to an article newsflash is using the newsflash doesn’t reflect the change.
I have to go into the module and change the category its looking at and change back again.
I have tried clearing the Joomla cache from that module from within Joomla, that doesn’t make a difference.

I’m sure its very simple to do

Any help would be great.

Dear marm!

The cache of ja newsflash module does not control via the Global Setting, You turn off the cache in its configuration, that is the Caching paramter inside the Advanced Paramter.

Hey Tienhc.

Why is it like this 🙂 ?
Is it hard to code it so global controls this or ?

Dear cansay!

that is my idea while developing this module, the global controls to render HTML cache of modules, the ja newsflash does not compatible with this cache, so that i improved the data cache for the module not use HTML cache,
