    Hi, ShannoN —

Let me just say that your responses are very helpful.:) I am new and this is a basic question, I guess, but I could not find the answer anywhere else for JA Senecio.

I want to collapse the News Flash and Users 1, 2 and 3 so that all the rest of the site “moves up”. Where should I look fo find out how to collapse modules? Thanks.

    ~David

PS – I am referring to the basic template as it is shown on Joomlart: http://www.joomlart.com/templates_club/club_portfolio/ja_senecio.html

    Hi David!

Just to clarify what you mean by ‘collapse’ in this instance? Do you mean you do not wish to have the news and modules 1,2,3 appear on the site?

If that is your wish, you just use the administrator backend management system to ‘unpublish’ the various modules you do not wish to show on the site, the unpublish/publish command is a toggle that turns the installed modules on and off so to speak.

As you are very new to Joomla, I’d suggest looking at some very educational and well developed tutorials I found and the link is here

There are two links in that post, you’ll find the tutorials are created in sections with many sub tutorials on various areas click to expand the tutorial tree.

Anything you need feel free to post here and if I cannot answer it there is a wealth of talented people here that are very helpful

    Cheers ShannonN

…very helpful! I’ll check out the resources. And I actually do know how to spell “modules” — dirty glasses. ~David
