if you look at my site and see the color of my google search box, you will see that the color doesn’t match the box it resides in. how do I change the light blue color to white to match the google background color.

Why don’t you match your google search box to the template instead? There should be options in your google control panel.
But if you really want to match your site to the google search box you can find the css class that controls that div by using the css tools in my signature below.
    Good luck.

i tried the options for the google module and component, but neither had the option. I tried the CSS file next, but still couldn’t find the option for the background color. i would much rather change the look of the google search rather than the css for the template.

So you are using a 3rd party google module and component?
Have you looked into the 3rd party files to see if there is a css file there?

ok, so i played with the CSS file that came with the 3rd party google component, and found out there were two css lines i needed to add to the actual ja teline template.css file to get the google module the color I wanted it. finally got it the color I want. Thanks for all the help, much appreciated.
