I’m using JA_Polaris for our intranet site, and I use a single image for the main header across all pages. Sometimes it’s difficult to find an image that doesn’t clash with a color choice, and though it’s a small thing I sometimes wonder if I could just remove color choices that clash temporarily on a per-image basis. The color picker is so easy to use, and the images change only every few weeks, so this won’t be a hardship on users to ‘lose’ their settings.
My question is, though, will they actually lose their setting. For example, if someone has chosen the blue scheme and I go in and remove blue as a color picker option from the template, the next time that user logs in are they reset from blue to the whatever I’ve set as the template default, or will they retain that blue scheme as per their settings? (I’m only removing it in the definition at the top of the template, since I a few weeks later I may want to add it back.)
