I am using position 20 for columns, set the menu manager to 8 articles, 4 columns and am getting a list of articles with no columns. Is there a more detail tutorial to do this as my site was already started and did not use the quick start. I followed the documentation and have tried several things and no columns.

Hi 1zindzhi,

The columns in Menu Manager will only work with the component block not the module block.
As on our demo (http://joomla-templates.joomlart.com/ja_magz/index.php/en/), the LATEST block is a component block.
The POPULAR block is a module block.

You can set the columns on the home menu item and it will reflect in LATEST block.
