When I create a Ja News Pro module, and set the number of columns to be displayed I get the same number of columns for all Ja News Pro Modules created or to be created. Does anybody know why this happens and if there is a way to fix it?

    Hi,

Please disable the CSS and JS optimization from template settings and see if that solves the problem for you.

It was disabled already. I enabled it and still didn’t work.

    Hi,

Did you try to add a Module Class Suffix ? I haven’t tried that but i think that it will help you sort this out.

No, is there any specific class suffix that I should use?

    Hi,

Sorry for my late response on your issue but if i can understand correctly what you need to achieve, here is my suggested solution.
If you need to use the same layout (profile) to display articles on your web site but with different settings the best way to achieve that is to clone the preferred profile and then publish a second instance of this module.

Please let me know if that helps you out.

I’m really sure about what you mean with publishing a second instance. Can you explain me a little bit more about it?

    Hi,

If you go to module settings you can see the profiles and the “clone” function that supports this feature.
If you clone a profile and make the necessary settings to achieve your goal then everything should work the way you want.

Please let me know if that helps you.

    Hi,

I have tried that already but it is not working. For some reason it takes the settings of the ones that has the largest numbers of columns.

    Hi,

I have tested this on localhost and it’s working so i am guessing that you might haven’t assign the correct “profile” to every instance of the module correct can you please verify this?

    Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion and taking the time to work on the website. However could you be a little more specific about the profiles. I’m not very familiar with the topic yet.

    Regards,

    Luis
