    Hi there,

I have JA Comments installed, and everything seems to be working correctly except I cannot view the comments in the backend. Therefore cannot approve or delete them etc. I can access the moderation page (via “Manage Comments”) and it displays the tabs and the number of comments in each section but the page itself is empty. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Emma

Ahh, then that s the problem. JA Comment has yet to be updated to be compatible with Joomla 2.5.x. It will come but it is not ready yet.

Oh no, I could’ve sworn I checked… but I must’ve just assumed instead. Do you have an idea of when the 2.5 version will be out? (e.g. weeks, months etc?)

    Thanks

Hopefully soon. I have been told the devs are working on JA Voice then on JA Comment.

The problem the above user had turned out to be a corrupt database which needed some work.

You are aware that Joomla 1.7 is no longer supported?

Yes, that is a database problem. However, as Joomla.org no longer support version 1.7 and additionally there is a security problem with Joomla 1.7 you would need to update to Joomla 2.5.3. Hopefully we will have JA Comment ready for J2.5.x very soon.

As previously stated, it is a problem with the databse missing some columns in table “_jacomment_items” misssing colums p0 because of a faulty update somewhere along the line. You would need to correct that.
