I just upgraded my site using JA Community Plus to J1.7. The public site disappears. Debug gives me the error: Fatal error: Cannot instantiate abstract class JDatabaseQuery.

A search for this error points to a coding inconsistency: http://te-webdesign.org.uk/forum/1-feature-requests/2071-joomla-17-fatal-error-jdatabasequery

Just checking if there is an issue and we should not upgrade to J1.7 until a new release is made.

JA Community Plus is Joomla 1.5.x & Joomla 1.6.x compatible and not with Joomla 1.7.x compatible

http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-community-plus

So please donnot upgrade until the template is updated for the Joomla Version 1.7.x

I made the jump to 1.7 but would really like to use this template, is there an estimated date as to when it will be released compatible with 1.7?

Until the upgrade is complete for J1.7 we are not sure about the date. Hopefully it will.
