Good day larissahn,
Please inform us of the 03 critical tickets or particular questions you have posted without receiving any responses for instant action.
So far, we could only track down two most recent posts concerning about comment components via this: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showthread.php?p=187338#post187338. And from that thread, we could see you have been advised of the comment component already.
Do hope to hear more questions from you.

hi, I submitted one midweek (wednesday, I think) and another one today. I am having 3 problems:
1. the PDF and Send Article as Email icons don´t work.
2. I think I need to reconfigure the Mail Settings in my Joomla administrator page.
3. my web hosting provider says there are some problems with the script of the Joomla template and that’s why it’s taking a long time to load.thank you.

August 16, 2010 at 4:08 am #352771IT would be lot more easier, if you can provide the Ticket ID.
Though for the email icon functioning, you can make other template as default and try to send the email, if it goes from other templates, then it is a bug with our template. If not then its a problem on your end. Try changing the template to default for this purpose.

These are the issues you are reporting :
1. the PDF and Send Article as Email icons don´t work.
2. I think I need to reconfigure the Mail Settings in my Joomla administrator page.
3. my web hosting provider says there are some problems with the script of the Joomla template and that’s why it’s taking a long time to load.1 & 2 >> I changed the template to joomla default and they still do not work. So its not because of our template usage. At the same time, its a joomla and your server issue, for which we would not be able to provide active support.
You were asked by me to verify the above yourself earlier.

August 18, 2010 at 5:02 am #353014I also checked the history of your earlier tickets. All were promptly replied. You want me to paste all the replies here?
1st Ticket – 7th Aug (weekend). Replied on 9th Aug (monday).
2nd ticket – 13th Aug . Replied on 13th Aug. (within 6 hrs)
3rd ticket – 16th Aug – Replied on 16th Aug. (within 8 hrs)Still here is the official reply given to you by the support staff :
<blockquote>Pdf works well but Email hasn’t sent mail yet maybe due to mail() function of php is current disable. You can also set sending mail with SMTP (see smtpmail.jpg). Admin -> Site -> Global Configuration -> Server tab</blockquote>As i said earlier, Its the joomla and rather your host problem. All your tickets were duly replied and promptly. You need to talk to your host or change to better host.

August 18, 2010 at 7:31 am #353031Try the email send option on the live demo of Nickel template. It works. and so, nothing is wrong with the template, you are using. Its your server / hosting issue.

thank you. I’d appreciate if you do paste the replies here, since I didn’t receive them at all in my inbox. I don’t know what to do, Yahoo! web hosting says it’s an issue with your template and you say it’s an issue with them.
they say they have a script and when they ran it, they discovered several bugs with your template.
regarding the first 2 issues I reported, I don’t know if they’re related (and that’s why I asked for help to configure the Mail Settings).

I did and that’s why I’m asking if the issues are related and maybe reconfiguring the Mail Settings might help.
